Uranus travels in an elliptical orbit around the sun once every 84 Earth years.
Travelling to another planet in the solar system is a bit challenging because the planets you want to visit are always moving around — and so is your starting location. Sometimes they line up ideally, but other times, visiting them may take a bit more effort.
Uranus was officially discovered by Sir William Herschel in 1781.
Uranus became the first planet discovered with the use of a telescope.
In Palmerston North the temperature in June is 14 degrees Celsius.
On Uranus the temperature is - 153 degrees Celsius.
Uranus has the coldest atmosphere in the solar system.
